Research integrity

Evidence before assertion.

ResearchHelp is built around a simple rule: assistance may support research decisions, but it must not manufacture the evidence, authority or academic truth those decisions depend on.

ResearchHelp must not invent research truth

  • No fabricated sources, citations, quotations, locators, respondents, observations, data, findings or approvals.
  • No universal institutional rule may be presented as verified policy when ResearchHelp has only fallback guidance.
  • Provider or model output remains guidance until the researcher or an authorised server workflow explicitly saves a permitted authoritative state.

Evidence and citation traceability

ResearchHelp is designed to keep evidence, source records, citation bindings and writing provenance connected. A citation or bibliography entry must not be presented as source-traceable unless ResearchHelp has the corresponding source basis.

ResearchHelp should fail closed when a citation anchor, source revision, asset identity or institutional rule can no longer be resolved safely.

AI-assisted research

  • AI assistance is advisory and must not silently overwrite researcher-authored project truth.
  • Generated guidance must remain distinguishable from researcher-confirmed facts, source-derived evidence and institutional authority.
  • ResearchHelp must not convert an AI suggestion into supervisor, ethics, institutional or regulatory approval.
  • Researchers remain responsible for any disclosure required by their institution, publisher or professional body.

Originality and topic protection

ResearchHelp may screen topic collisions and external metadata within the sources and scope it actually checks. It must never turn a limited search into a claim of universal originality.

Title rewriting alone is not substantive originality. Topic differentiation must remain meaningful and policy-aware.

Methodology, fieldwork and data

  • ResearchHelp must not invent population sizes, participants, response rates, field access, ethics approval or collected data.
  • Planning assumptions remain assumptions until the researcher supplies and confirms appropriate evidence.
  • Simulated or synthetic data must be clearly identified and must not be represented as real field observations.

Institutional authority

Verified institutional specifications may shape structure, citation style, methodology requirements and submission rules. Missing or conflicting institutional knowledge must remain explicit rather than being silently normalised.

Researcher selection is not institutional approval. ResearchHelp may display approval only where an accepted authority and current evidence basis support it.

Final responsibility

ResearchHelp is designed to improve research process discipline, not replace scholarly judgement. Researchers should review source accuracy, methodology, evidence, interpretations, citations, formatting and institutional requirements before submission.
