Terms of Use

Research support with clear responsibility.

These terms define the boundary between ResearchHelp support and the academic, ethical and legal decisions that remain with the researcher and relevant institutions.

Using ResearchHelp

ResearchHelp is an academic research-support service. It helps researchers organise evidence, plan research, make documented decisions and produce research outputs, but it is not a university, supervisor, ethics committee, examination board or accreditation authority.

Your academic responsibility

  • You remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, originality and academic acceptability of work you submit.
  • You must follow the rules of your institution, programme, supervisor, ethics body, publisher or other applicable authority.
  • ResearchHelp guidance, fallback rules and generated suggestions must not be represented as institutional approval unless the product explicitly identifies verified authority for that claim.
  • You must review citations, quotations, data, interpretations and final exports before academic submission.

Research integrity

You may not use ResearchHelp to fabricate sources, evidence, respondents, approvals, data, findings or institutional rules. You may not deliberately remove provenance in order to misrepresent generated or source-derived material.

Where your institution requires disclosure of AI-assisted work, you are responsible for following that requirement.

Accounts and security

  • Keep account credentials and verification methods secure.
  • Do not access another person's private research workspace without explicit authorisation.
  • Do not attempt to bypass service limits, private storage protections, abuse controls or security boundaries.
  • ResearchHelp may restrict or suspend access when necessary to protect users, research data, infrastructure or service integrity.

Your content

You retain responsibility for the research material you provide to ResearchHelp. You grant the service only the rights reasonably required to store, process, transform and return that material in order to provide the ResearchHelp features you request.

Uploading a source, figure or other material does not establish that you own reproduction rights or have permission to use it in a final submission.

Service limitations

ResearchHelp does not guarantee a particular academic grade, approval, publication result, originality outcome, regulatory decision or supervisor decision.

Availability may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, infrastructure failure, provider failure, security response or controlled rollback.

Changes

Material terms changes will be reflected by the last-updated date. Continued production use may require renewed acceptance where a change materially affects user rights or obligations.
